DX Ankydon and Bunpachy Zyudenchi (2013)

Kyoryuger's Zyudenchi are my favorite gimmick. They're fake batteries with a panel inside that flips from a glow-in-the-dark image of the appropriate dinosaur to a full-color version with a sparkly background. That's it. The name of each Zyudenryu is printed on the back and there's a sticker with their symbol on the front. These come from the 'complete' DX set, which I didn't buy wholesale. It's commonly broken up into individual listings on ebay. I have these two, and only these two, because their metallic paint is my way of denoting that they represent Ramirez and Tessai on my shelf. Because they're Spirit Rangers.

Sometimes the paint is scored and sometimes the stickers are printed sideways. Make sure you're looking at actual pics of the product up for sale because of this. In general, though, they're very nice.

3 'Maneuver Seven's out of 5

I literally JUST learned that Colossus originally referred to the Fastball Special as 'Maneuver Seven.' Japan never ceases to amaze me with the complexity and depth of their references. Ramirez does a Fastball Special with Tessai. Fucking. Perfection.

The DX set includes the Zyudenchi of all 10 of the Great Zyudenryu, all 13 of the Guardians, Victory, Maximum, and the 1+/Overcharge/Carnival/Mini-Tyra battery. No Tobaspino. Lamesauce.
