Climax Keitai Keitaros (2007)

The Keitaros phone admittedly has some flaws and shortcomings in build and function. The look of the phone is compromised by the clips that allow it to attach to the Den-O Belt and the outside appears unfinished for the same reason. It feels quite flimsy, so don’t stretch it beyond its engineered limits. The original version only has Momotaros voice clips and while I’d lose my shit over this with a (purely) Sentai toy, I can begrudgingly live with it, here, even if it should have clips from everyone BUT Momo. In terms of the henshin and hissatsu, it does its job. If you don’t want to break the bank on a Wing Form belt, but love Sieg, get this.

Comparisons of the various versions can be found below the cut.

3 Imagin Who Want to Reach Out and Tou…Possess You out of 5

The Legend Rider re-issue has voice clips from all four main Imagin, resolving that particular issue. I honestly think the coolest thing about this toy is its packaging. One of the icons is actually Ichigo’s henshin pose. This toy contains lights, sounds, and a henshin. Nice. It feels like the box was intentionally designed to sit atop the belt’s without caving it in. I haven’t noticed any damage to mine in the year I’ve had them. If you want to view the belt as comprising Ryoutarou and the four main Imagin, and the phone as Sieg (since the phone is used for Super Climax in addition to regular Climax), then Sieg is appropriately at the top. If you view the unlit bulb casing in the belt as being white (representing Sieg), then all of the Imagin are holding up Ryoutarou, who uses the combined belt for Liner Form in the final episode and Saraba, henshining straight past Plat Form. That works perfectly, too, if you’ve seen the entire series.
